Emerging from the sparkling waters of Byron Bay, SEASIDE’s tide began to rise in 2018 with their sublime single ‘Golden Girl’ being added to full rotation on Triple J and the band being selected to play Splendour In The Grass the same year. The band quickly found themselves on festival stages nationally, and touring with some of Australia’s biggest acts including Angus & Julie Stone, Ocean Alley, The Jungle Giants & Lime Cordiale.

During the pandemic the band released an EP of earlier singles called “In Another Life” in 2021 to conclude their early years as a coastal indie band. 

In 2023, SEASIDE began the cycle for what would be their latest EP ‘WISHBONE’. Working with friend and producer Tony Beliveau, the band teamed up with Adam ‘Atom’ Greenspan (Bloc Party, IDLES) and Joe Bozzi (Amyl & The Sniffers) for mix and master in LA and the end result was a gritty powerhouse EP featuring singles ‘We’re On Fire’, ‘See Ya’ & ‘Housewife’ which was added to spot rotation on Triple J. 

This local regular radio airplay time caught the attention of audiences globally and saw SEASIDE on their first international tour supporting Australian legends Ocean Alley on a 12-date tour throughout UK/EU.

Critics and listeners around the world draw comparisons for Darcy to Australian rock legend Chrissy Amphlett for similarities in her power and presence on stage. Their show is dynamic, from a soft-lingering ambience, to a relentless rhythm that can often feel like a fever dream.
