Young Franco’s latest single ‘Juice’ featuring Pell is another excellent contribution to the already thriving Young Franco discography. This time he recruits New Orleans based rapper Pell who brings an infectious energy to the chopping block. An amalgamation of house, rap and pop brings out the best in the versatile Young Franco.
‘Juice’ acts as a perfect refresher of Young Franco’s concise musical abilities. The seasoned producer recruits a 4 to the floor drum beat to hold down the back end of the track. With it combines glitchy piano synths, building tension towards an infectious hook. The bass line rumbles stronger here, as a repetitive, pop conscious chorus rings. A confident vocal performance by Pell moulds perfectly with the melodic elements of the track, creating a ready hit that all open eared music fans are set to enjoy.
Alongside his most recent single, Franco has been ticking off career highlights. A sold out Metro Theatre show prompted a booking on the Listen Out tour, a headline slot at Sweet Relief and all the way to a debut sold out US run including a number of prime time festival slots at Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Florida and Lights All Night in Dallas. With this came his first gold single accreditation in the form of ‘Miss You’ featuring Maribelle.
If there’s anyone you can rely on bring the crowd and build a presence in a club, it’s Young Franco. His smiling stage persona, epic jam selections and fantastic original productions win him fans and friends wherever he goes.
