To date, he has four ARIA-Gold-certified singles, one Emmy nomination, one Queensland Music Award, over 200 million streams, and more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In January 2025, Young Franco released his long-awaited debut LP Of Leisure. The album, a genre-blurring triumph, showcases his signature blend of disco, italo-disco, rap, punk, and dance music, with global influences from the UK, America, Italy, Nigeria, and Jamaica. Described by Franco as “an accumulation of all my friends, everyone I love, and artists I’ve been privileged to work alongside,” the 10-track project features an all-star cast of collaborators including General Levy, Franc Moody, piri & tommy, P-Rallel, and Dana Williams. It also includes his celebrated rework of Moloko’s ‘Sing It Back,’ and fan favourites like ‘Fallin’ Apart’ (ft. Denzel Curry and Pell) and ‘Juice’ (ft. Pell), the latter certified ARIA Gold.
The album was met with critical acclaim and charted across multiple territories, further cementing Young Franco’s reputation as a visionary producer. Its release was supported by his biggest World tour to date, including sold-out shows across Australia, UK, Europe and North America.
Moonlighting in the mainstream while remaining firmly rooted in electronic music, Young Franco has evolved into a credible producer and DJ, no matter the track, set, performance, or collaboration at hand. That’s why his single ‘Juice’ ft. Pell (later remixed by Salute) featured in the film Magic Mike’s Last Dance, and why brands like Apple, Google, EA Sports and the NFL have commissioned him for high-profile campaigns—testament to his authenticity, versatility, and work ethic.
Born and raised in Brisbane, now based in Sydney, Young Franco is also an avid soccer player. His Italian heritage and love for the game have shaped his musical taste and aesthetic. In 2021, the A-League selected ‘Real Nice (H.C.T.F.)’ ft. Tkay Maidza and Nerve as its official anthem. In 2022, FIFA tapped his track ‘Fallin’ Apart’ for the Ultimate FIFA Soundtrack – The 100 Greatest FIFA Tracks Of All Time, and in 2023, added his single ‘Rollout’ to the official FIFA soundtrack—capping off a dream trajectory for the lifelong football fan.
